All interested contestants must contact either the Chairman or the President and fill out the 2014 Queen & Princess Application. Each interested party must have their original birth certificate and valid state picture ID. Any contestants that are under the age of 18, must be accompanied by a parent or guardian and the parent or guardian must present a valid state picture ID. 

The Riverdale Rodeo Queens and Princesses are selected based on raffle ticket sales ONLY and the association will be hosting a Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA) rodeo!!! The Queen & Princess contest is open to all unmarried and childless girls and young ladies between the ages of 3-12 for Princess contestants and 13-25 for Queen contestants. The Riverdale Rodeo agrees to pay each contestant that sells a minimum of 2,000, $1.00 tickets, 25% of all her money sales, plus a bonus of $100.00 for every additional 1,000 tickets sold over the minimum 2,000 tickets. In addition, the winners of the contest will receive a crown and silver buckle from the associationThe queen and princess contestants may also compete in the NON-MANDATORY horsemanship equestrian contest as well. The only requirement to compete in the horsemanship contest is to sell a minimum of 2000, $1.00 tickets. However the outcome of the horsemanship contest has NO BEARING on the outcome of the Queen and Princess selections. It is totally free to compete for either position, but contestants must meet the below qualifications: 

1. Princess contestants are from the ages of 3 to 12 years of age. 
2. Queen contestants are from the ages of 13 to 25 years of age and must not be married or have children (simply because of the time demands for the position).
3. All hopeful contestants must bring a valid birth certificate and a valid state ID card. For any contestants under the age of 18, they must bring a valid birth certificate and a parent or guardian with their valid state ID card.
4. Queen and Princess contestants will sell tickets until April 25, 2014 to determine the contest winners and the winners will be announced at the annual Ad Book Buyers Kick-Off Dinner.
